Martyrs' Monument, located on the Gallipoli Peninsula, is a colossal monument built in memory of 253,000 Turkish heroes who were martyred in the Dardanelles Wars.
The monument is placed on a 25x25 m pedestal and 41.7 m high on four pillars. Under the monument, which was completed and opened in 1960, is the War Artifacts Museum.
